Hilary I love all these music songs!! they are very uplifting! the Catholic hymns are beautiful but sometimes I feel they are suppressive to the joy I feel when in His Presence. Our church began using a more contemporary hymnbook that they add a song now and then for the younger generation and I love it! However it is not very often. When they choose the song "shout to the Lord" for our recessional...I am very pleased and energized and ready to spread the Word! The hymnals are songs dated in the 50's...what was so special about that era?
