Hi All, My friend has finally conceived after many years, she is 10 weeks pregnant but is suffering from medical complications. She has suffered bleeding since 1st August. The last sonography on 5th aug showed a blood clot which they say is not harming the baby as yet. She has to go for a sonography on 19th and if the clot has not decreased they may need to terminate the pregnancy. Please pray that our Lord will protect her and the baby. If anyone has any medical advice, it would be really useful. Thanks, Lydia |

Prayers ascending for Mother, baby, and the medical team!
She can get a second opinion from another obstetrician/gynecologist ... just make sure it's not a partner from the same group because the same group tends to agree with the other members. She can do this now or until her MD suggests terminating the pregnancy ... but then l'm not sure l'd want to wait until the last moment. Hope this helps. |

Direct abortion, which seems to be what the doctor is suggesting, is never justified. If in removing the clot the baby dies, that's not direct abortion, however I'd think that there must be something that can be done without harming the child. Where is the clot? And, yes, I agree with Carl that your friend needs an opinion from a pro-life obstetrician.

Hey Lydia, IN the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS! We plead the BLOOD OF JESUS over your friend and her baby! We are asking for a miracle for the mother and baby. We are asking that they are completely healed from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet! We ask that the Holy Trinity: God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus and Mother Mary lift up your friend and her baby in their loving arms and holding them safely and securely!
