Folio Profile

Basic

About Me: I am Dacia Wells, a Catholic singer/songwriter/guitarist whose mission is to serve God above all things. I have been so blessed in my life and it is time I give back to God the talents He so loving gave to me. My music ministry is taking form!

I am passionate about my faith and my desire for Heaven. I truly believe that God calls us all to be Saints and to put Him first in all we do. I’m doing my best. The songs I write are my prayers, my stories, my faith journey, and my struggles. They are very much me, but also very much God. They are all gifts from Him and hopefully I did not get in the way of what He is trying to say to the world within their melodies and rhymes. Please pray for me, for the courage, fortitude, strength, and humility to follow the way of holiness He has laid out before me.

May the passion of Jesus Christ be ever in our hearts!

"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Power of God - cast into hell, satan and all evil spirits, who wander the world for the ruin of souls." Amen.

Prayers: O Jesus! meek and humble of heart, Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed,
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being loved...
From the desire of being extolled ...
From the desire of being honored ...
From the desire of being praised ...
From the desire of being preferred to others...
From the desire of being consulted ...
From the desire of being approved ...
From the fear of being humiliated ...
From the fear of being despised...
From the fear of suffering rebukes ...
From the fear of being calumniated ...
From the fear of being forgotten ...
From the fear of being ridiculed ...
From the fear of being wronged ...
From the fear of being suspected ...

That others may be loved more than I,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may be esteemed more than I ...
That, in the opinion of the world,
others may increase and I may decrease ...
That others may be chosen and I set aside ...
That others may be praised and I unnoticed ...
That others may be preferred to me in everything...
That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should…
