Father Philip Neri Powell is just starting work on his Ph.D. in Rome. Here's what he said recently regarding his research: "As I move into Ph.D. work, my research must become more and more specialized. Though I have not yet selected a specific topic, it will be something having to do with the controversy of using/abusing science in the defense of pluralistic theologies of religion (i.e., use/abuse of science in theology to promote heresy)."
