U2 is an excellent band. I don't think Bono is a Catholic though. Not that it matters, they sing some great songs. The lyrics from 40 is actually in Psalms 39 in the Catholic Bible. They number the Psalms different in the Protestant Bible. He seems more neutral than anything. With songs like Sunday Bloody Sunday about the incident in Derry where British troops shot and killed civil rights marchers you would think they were Catholic though. There are probably some families in Northern Ireland with both Catholic and Protestant members. Thank God the Troubles are over. It is near an identical issue in Palestine.
